Give a day of service and go to Disneyland for free

If you're a Disney fan, then you'll surely want to know about Disney's new incentive to get us out there to give a day of service. Starting in January 1, 2010, if you volunteer with one of their participating organizations, then you will be rewarded a FREE admission ticket to either Disneyland or Disney World. Disney feels like this will be a great way to inspire millions to give a day to others.
This would make a fun outing for your friends, your family, or your Bible study group. Pick a day to go out and serve together. I think most will find that the reward from volunteering brings such an abundance of joy and happiness in itself. This could be a great way to not only give back, but also have a chance to visit the "happiest place on earth" for free!
But beyond the free admission, let us see value in the realization that one day of service from each of us could make a world of difference. You may not feel like that one day could make a lasting impact but it truly can. Mother Teresa once said, "We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." Let's go out and serve and make sure we're not missing a drop.
