Remeber when Dr. Cosby was all of our Dads?

HIGH FIVE! Here are 5 great shows for you to check the heck out:

1. WITHOUT INTERMISSION

OPENS THIS THURSDAY 6/11 AT 8PM at iO Chicago

"Weitberg is commanding and energetic." - Chicago Reader

"Altman-esque."  "A writer to watch." - TimeOut Chicago

You are on.  Right now, and every other moment, flipping in and out of the roles that make up your life, and the rub of it all is that the show is going by too quickly to see what is really happening.  In WITHOUT INTERMISSION, Seth Weitberg presents the performance of our everyday lives, in an unrelenting stream of characters that are as hilarious in their shortcomings as they are unmistakable from our surroundings.  Trapped by the stages they create and committed in their desires to impress, the personalities of this high-energy, one-act spectacle invite us all to step out from under the lights.

Tickets are FREE for iO students! - $10 for the general public.

Seth Weitberg has written two one-man shows, the john doe project (a 2004 Single File Festival Selection) and America Gives Itself a Hero's Welcome.  Previously at iO, he wrote, directed and joined the cast of A Moment Alone, a collection of monologues, performance poetry and '60s-era soul ballads, and created and co-hosted the cult hit, The Late Night Late Show, which produced a brand new weekly show featuring Chicago personalities and musicians for over a year and half.  A member of The Second City Touring Company, Weitberg has been seen and heard on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and Mancow's Morning Madhouse.

For more information and production photos, please visit: WITHOUTINTERMISSION.com

Additional performances on Thursday, June 11th and 25th and July 2nd at 8pm
The running time is approximately 50 minutes

WITHOUT INTERMISSION is written and performed by Seth Weitberg
Musical direction by Jesse Case
Directed by Seth Weitberg and Jesse Case
