Will we be feeling fine in 2009?

HIGH FIVE!

Here are the rest of the BEST LISTS...

The Pop Culture that affected Chicago Comedians in 2008:

1. Madmen. Character driven scripted drama. That still works? Yes. In my dreams I AM Joan. Best show ever.

2. Tracy Letts' Pulitzer. Thank HIGH 5 Heaven you got to see him fill in for either TJ and Dave one night and got up the courage after a/3 beers to tell him how amazing he is. He's probably going to be more difficult to reach now.

3. This photo shoot with Lisa Jack at Occidental College.

4. WallE. Restoring faith in Disney/Animated movies.

5. Pushing Daisies. Another character based TV show BUT a high (5) concept one AND a comedy? With Broadway stars? Yes. Indeed.

Honorable Mention to:

30 Rock, The Kennedy Center Awards, Twilight, and Britney Spears.

Grab a tissue... we're ending the year on a mortal note...

The losses that hit Chicago Comedy in 2008:

1. George Carlin

2. Bernie Mac

3. Studs Terkel

4. David Foster Wallace

5. Jeremy Piven's career

Phew. We made it.

2009 is going to be amazing. I can feel it...

Any ideas on who will be the best in 2009?
