Most of the men I know wear loafers to work Monday through Friday, and unfortunately, because they are so abundant in their closets, those shoes carry into the weekend wardrobe. I’m a firm believer in what you wear to work should never be worn on the weekends, so I am making an effort to put an end to the loafers-on-lounging-days routine.

One store in Maryland, Social Study Sneakers, is rallying behind my cause. They are one of the best avenues our Charm City fellas, and men in general, can use to express their individuality and personal style.

Located in Frederick, MD, Social Study also has clothing and accessories for men and women. Perfect for all ages, their sneakers are contemporary enough casual Fridays but funky enough for the 3 a.m. Saturday night after party.
