Lighting
Chandelier selection from Jones Lighting Specialists

Just when you think they’re not coming back in style because they don’t fit with current trends, they pop back on the scene as the newest, hottest home accessory.

Think of these ceiling-mounted light fixtures as the Madonna of home décor.

Can’t get the image of your grandmother’s Victorian-inspired chandelier out of your mind? Don’t worry, chandelier designs have changed drastically since the days of the past. In a variety of shapes, colors, and design inspirations, from Southwestern to Modern, Asian to Tropical, I guarantee you’ll be able to find a chandelier style that will perfectly complement your space. They’re also no longer reserved for accenting your dining room; they make romantic accessories in the bedroom as well. I’ve even seen some in the bathroom (please be careful if you’re considering this technique).

Two great websites about chandeliers are Simply Chandeliers and Bellacor. They have a HUGE selection at a variety of prices, with some chandeliers being as low as $100. Of course, I’ll always recommend actually visiting a lighting store to inspect your dream chandelier in person. What you see online may not look as great in your home. You’d be surprised how local lighting specialists, such as Jones Lighting Specialists, can help you create an atmosphere customized for your home.

In a store, a professional will be able to help you pick out the perfect chandelier for your home based on the architectural style of the home, the surrounding furnishings, your personal taste, and the most important… your budget!
