Global effort marks October 24th as 350 Global Day of Climate Action

October 24th is the 350 Global Day Of Climate Action with events planned around the world. Scientist say that 350 is the upper limit for parts per million of C02 in the atmosphere. The campaign seeks to make a united statement to policy makers preparing for the Copenhagen summit. Bill McKibben founded The 350 day of action
A US event will take place in Washington DC and will occur simultaneously with events in London, Sydney, Delhi, Copenhagen, and Quito. The events are scheduled near iconic landmarks with participants gathering to use their bodies to form the numbers 350. Aerial photos are also planned.
The current CO2 concentration is 387 parts per million.
