Seattle, another city where scooters are growing in number and visibility, recently passed a law that, for once, makes scooterists lives a little easier.
It is now illegal for strangers to tow your scoot out of the way, if it is judged to be improperly parked by whomever has the equipment or elbow grease to pick it up and put it wherever they please.
Since most scoots top out at around 275 pounds, they're a prime target for joyriders, thieves and vandals.
With the headaches I've encountered with customers lately in their interactions with city rules and bureaucracy, it's nice to see at least one city deciding to deal with the scootering population in a constructive, rather than obstructive, manner.
