How much mod is *too much mod*?
It's summer time, and that can only mean one thing for sociable scooterists: It's Rally Season!
This weekend, Denver welcomes vintage enthusiasts and others for Mile High Mayhem 11, with the rockin' theme of "Metal from Heaven." Check here for a listing of events and an idea of what Denver's scooter fiends will be up to all rally long.
For the hardcore Vespa fan ready to cross the Mason-Dixon line, the notorious Amerivespa rally takes place in Chattanooga, Tenn., this year. Should be a gorgeous, if hot, time to live it up in the Smoky Mountains.
A few weeks down the road, for those not so willing to head so far East, the Pharoah club of Albuquerque will hold Camp Scoot in the beautiful Jemez Mountains. I'd love to go just for the nighttime ride around ABQ.
Those are just a few of scoot culture's upcoming events... summer is full of ways to throw yourself into the scooter scene. So bring your wheels and an open mind.
