The death of Michael Jackson saddened millions of Americans, including many Examiners throughout the country. Here is a roundup of articles written by ten different Examiners from all parts of the United States. Each one is personal and poignant, and shows that the death of Michael Jackson was a tragedy felt in the north and south, east and west.

1. Nicaila Matthews, the New York Urban Culture Examiner wrote about how all of New York City was in shock and mourning one of this century’s greatest performing artists in her article, “NYC mourns Michael Jackson.”

6. Viviane Feilhaber, the LA Celebrity Examiner, shared her memories of the 'King of Pop' in her article, “Remembering the world’s icon: Michael Jackson’s 10 greatest moments.”
7. Jutstin Bartz, the Minneapolis Rock Music Examiner, remembered other musicians whose lives were also cut short in his article, “With Michael Jackson’s death, a look back at rock stars we still miss today.”
8. Jennifer Tolento, The NY Celebrity Mom Examiner, wondered about Michael Jackson’s children in her article, “King of Pop leaves behind 3 children: Who will raise them? “
