Because retailers may face yet another dismal holiday shopping season, several are announcing their Black Friday deals early, like a $119.99 laptop computer at K-Mart. For families eager to get the most bang for their buck, a weak economy and hungry retailers will be a major plus for shoppers.

The $119.99 laptop computer will be offered as a 6:00-11:00 a.m. doorbuster on Black Friday at K-mart. The Dellstar 7” wireless netbook runs Windows CE and has a 400MHz ARM-based CPU, 128MB of RAM and 2 GB of flash storage. It's just right for a graduating senior to take to college.

For parents looking to scout out good deals and make their Black Friday shopping plans early, Black Friday and Gotta Deal are both fantastic on-line resources. The websites feature buying guides and shopping lists for those parents who want a little more than deal-seeking. Once retailers announce their Black Friday deals, the websites post the deals on-line, and scan the ads in their entirety. You can even discuss hot deals with others in its message boards and find discounts the sites may have missed.

The Black Friday websites will list all the best deals from most well-known retailers. Simply click on one of the stores' names and you can see its respective Black Friday ad. The sites list all the deals by department. Scroll to the category you're looking for to find the deals you care about. Next to those items, you'll see a "plus" icon. When you click that, you can add it to your shopping list on the site.

Note from editor: I utilized Gottadeal.com last year for my holiday shopping. It was great tool for finding the lowest prices on the gifts I wanted to purchase. With budgets stretched to the limit, Black Friday websites can literally save you hundreds of dollars. Give them a try. More retailers should start advertising their Black Friday deals in the next week or two.
