A month ago, only two of the United States of America allowed for same-sex marriage.
Today, with the addition of good old New Hampshire, there are five.
The fight for marriage equality has come so far in such a short amount of time it is mind-boggling.
A recent poll shows that 42 percent of Americans are in favor of same sex marriage, up from 33 percent just last month.
It's obvious to see which way the wind is blowing on this one. With real problems like war and the economy and disease facing the world, the idea of two men or two women living quietly together in matrimonial bliss just isn't as scary as it was even a few years ago.
So my question is: How long do you think it will be before Colorado legalizes same-sex marriage?
Within one year?
Within five years?
Within 10 years?
Or never?
Below is a short video I shot at Colorado Springs PrideFest last year of Tom and Don, two delightful gentlemen who were legally married in California on July 14, 2008. Check it out! It's really not that scary when you think about it.
