1. Blackout Party at The Eagle on Friday: That's the night that the lights go out in Denver!

2. Madonnarama at Tracks on Sunday: This Sunday August 17th is the annual Madonna Birthday Show at Tracks. On the occasion of Madonna's Sweet 50th Birthday, Tracks' Madonnarama will feature all Madonna music and video all night long by DJ Ed Bailey, resident DJ at Town Danceboutique, Washington DC.

3. Ride for Life on Saturday: The 4th Annual Ride for Life to benefit Flight For Life Colorado is set for Saturday. The cost is $35 Solo Rider, $45 Rider & Guest. Gather at the Jefferson County Stadium parking lot, located at West 6th Avenue and Kipling Street in Lakewood. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the ride departs at 10 a.m.

4. Keith Boykin on BET on Friday: Tonight at 9 p.m. is the premiere of the new BET show 'The Truth with Jeff Johnson'. Gay activist Keith Boykin will be on tonight's program and will appear as a regular guest panelist.
