Over the weekend artists from all over the country braved rain, hail and tornado warnings to showcase their temporary masterpieces on the pavement downtown. 

Larimer Square hosted La Pizzia, an Italian-style chalk-art festival, closing off the street and inviting professional and amateur chalkists to make something beautiful on the asphalt.
