Sculpture Objects & Functional Art Fair (SOFA) opens this week on Navy Pier. International Ceramic, sculpture, glass and designed objects will be on display from 10 countries and over sixty galleries. There is a trolley to and from the River North galleries, MCA and Navy Pier. Opening night preview is $50 Thursday night from 7-9pm. Along with all the artwork to see, there are 33 lectures to attend. Fair hours are as follows: Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 8 from noon to 6 p.m. Tickets are $15 for single day general admission and $25 for a three-day pass.
