If you're in downtown Denver during this next week there will be some great fresh tapped beers available at the Falling Rock Tap House you'll won't want to miss. This week happens to have four tapping celebrations that hop heads and sour beer fans will want to attend.

SKA Modus Hoperandi - Fri. Feb. 20th 5pm

Ska Brewing of Durango is releasing their new hoppy India Pale Ale(IPA) - the Modus Hoperandi and Falling Rock is hosting the front range debut party at 5pm this Friday.  The new brew weighs in at 7% ABV and has a hefty 70 IBU. Soon this beer will be available state-wide in cans!

Russian River Pliney the Younger - Sun. Feb. 22nd 2pm

The next series of beers from the popular Russian River brewery in California are starting to ship and Falling Rock will get them all. Pliney the Younger will be on tap at 2pm.  This beer has been long sought after here in Colorado and will now begin shipping. Help tap the 1st keg of the regular shipment.  The younger Pliney is a triple IPA and packs a big 10.5% ABV.

Avery Maharaja - Mon. Feb. 23rd - 5pm

The annual release of Avery's big IPA has arrived and Falling Rock will be getting their first kegs of this hoppy ale on Monday. Falling Rock requested a bigger supply this time as it tends to run out quick.

Russian River Consecration - Thu. Feb. 26th - 5pm

Sour beer lovers won't want to miss this brew. Last year this brew lasted only 20 minutes at the Falling Rock during the GABF. This is a nice dark brown sour ale made with Currants and aged in Cabernet barrels for 6 months.  It's sour funk that is very tasty.  I had some of this at the GABF last year and it was one of my favorites of the session.  It's a big 10.5% ABV brew that will make your mouth pucker. Local liquor stores will begin getting limited supplies of this popular sour ale soon.
