The readers have spoken and they have selected their favorite breweries and brewpubs in Northern Colorado for 2008.  There were a total of 101 selections cast and their were 14 breweries that received multiple votes.  Here is a rundown of the readers favorites.

Tied for 9th place: Boulder Beer Company  (Boulder) and Dry Dock Brewing Company (Aurora)

Tied for 8th place: Coopersmiths (Ft Collins), Southern Sun (Boulder) and Wynkoop Brewing (Denver).

7th place: Fort Collins Brewery (Ft Collins)

6th place: Mountain Sun (Boulder)

Tied for 5th place: Great Divide Brewing Co (Denver) and Left Hand Brewing Company (Longmont)

4th place: Breckenridge Brewery (Denver)

Tied for 3rd place: Oskar Blues (Lyons) and Odell Brewing Company (Ft Collins)

2nd place: New Belgium Brewing (Ft Collins)

and the brewery voted the top favorite in Northern Colorado for 2008 is:

1st place:  Avery Brewing Company (Boulder)

Congratulations to all of the breweries who were voted as a favorite brewery for 2008.  Thanks also to all of the readers for participating in this annual survey.   Colorado is blessed to have so many great breweries and brewpubs to choose from.
