Colorado is a massive melting pot of world class beers.  The best beers in the union seem to make their way here sooner or later.  This week, Colorado gets to celebrate the arrival of yet another batch of excellent beers from the west coast and the Falling Rock Tap House will play host to their debut.

The debut party of the beers from The Lost Abbey / Port Brewing will take place on Wednesday, September 10th starting at 5pm at the Falling Rock Tap House in lower downtown Denver.  In attendance at the party will be Tomme Arthur, designated as the "Steward of the Vision" of The Lost Abbey.   The Lost Abbey beers are crafted by the Port Brewing Company of San Marcos, California.

Come thirsty and try some of these worthy brews:  Wipeout IPA, Hop 15, Devotion & Judgement Day.  There's only going to be a limited amount on hand (1 keg of each), so you better get there early if you want a shot at getting a pint of these fine brews.  There will also be a limited number of bottles of Isabelle Proximus on hand.

Isabell Proximus is described as "a collaboration between five of America’s best craft brewers – Tomme Arthur of Port Brewing / The Lost Abbey, Adam Avery of Avery Brewing, Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head, Vinnie Cilurzo of Russian River, and RobTod of Allagash.  Isabelle was created from a common base beer to which each brewery contributed a yeast strain and barrels for aging. After 16 months in oak, the beers were blended to create the final product".

Falling Rock will also be a very popular gathering place before, during, and after the upcoming Great American Beer Festival during the October 9-11 annual gathering in Denver of craft beer enthusiasts.   Tickets for the GABF are still available online and also at the Falling Rock.

Tomme Arthur will also appear at the Fort Collins' Choice City Butcher & Deli on Thursday, September 11th to discuss his brews.  Lost Abbey and Port Brewing Company beers will then be sold state-wide following this week's debut events and will be distributed by Elite Brands of Colorado.

For a detailed explaination of how The Lost Abbey came to arrive in Colorado, read this recent entry from The Lost Abbey's own blog.
