Need your weekly beer event fix? There are plenty of activities involving your favorite brews and breweries this weekend. The Northern Colorado Beer Examiner has found some of the most fun festivals, celebrations and beer events happening around Colorado between July 10th and July 16th. One of these beer extravaganzas are bound to be happening near you. There’s something for everyone.

Part of the
2008 SummerFest Music Series on old South Pearl Street. From 1-10pm. BrewGrass is the 1st of two festivals on Old South Pearl.
BrewGrass will feature a lineup of great national and local Bluegrass acts, including banjo prodigy Tony Furtado and one of Colorado’s favorite string-fusion bands, Boulder Acoustic Society. Enjoy some great brews from the likes of Breckenridge Brewery, New Belgium, Left Hand and many more as you hear some of the best music around for just a buck!

Rails and Ales Brewfest

Wooo wooo! The beer train leaves Alamosa, CO at 9:00 AM from the Alamosa train depot on July 12th and will take everyone to a beautiful mountain meadow spot along the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad route. The beer festival will run from Noon to 3:00 PM. The train will then take you back to Alamosa, CO, arriving about 5:30 PM. More info: 719-587-BEER. Cost: $45. Loveland SummerFest

This event will feature not only a beer and wine garden and fireworks, but also live music each of the three days. Also included: a classic car show, vendor marketplace, family amusements, food, drinks and oh yes beer. Friday starts at 6:30pm, Saturday and Sunday starts at 10am.
