Cher has finally come out with a statement about her only daughter's decision to undergo a sex change.
Talking exclusively to People magazine, Cher obviously took some time to think about what she would say publicly. (Don't you wonder what this explosive talent with a ball-busting vocabularly has said privately? She and Chaz are very close, and we can only imagine the conversations they've had.)
Cher shared that Chaz is going through "a difficult journey, but one that I will support," and says that she respects "the courage it takes to go through this transition in the glare of public scrutiny, and although I may not understand, I will strive to be understanding."
She went on to say that, "The one thing that will never change is my abiding love for my child."
