After days of promoting World Refugee Day, which is tomorrow, Angelina Jolie sat down with Ann Curry of NBC's "Today" show in a candid interview about her hopes for her family and the world in which she travels that aired this morning.
Some of her revealing insights?
On knowing sooner what she knows now after having been a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador:
I think it would have got me through my youth easier,” Jolie said. “I would have been less self-destructive.”
On why she wants her children to experience the refugee camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
I want them to see it as an area where they can go down the street and play football with those kids and get to know them and, as they grow up, see them as friends they spend time with,” Jolie said.
