Colonel Tamar and Charlie Daniels
My networking, here in Nashville, has introduced me to quite a variety of people in the music business or connected with it. One of those contacts is Tamar Alexia Fleishman, a genuine Kentucky Colonel who lives in Baltimore, Maryland.
While chatting with Tamar via the Internet the other day, I learned that her booking agency, American Talent, has a new venue that she is currently working with. The type of musicianship they are looking for is basically a Southern Rock band that also does some classic Country and other standards. Sounds to me like there should be a good fit right here in Music City, right? Well, that was actually where our conversation ended. I informed Tamar that I would do my best to get the word out and to let folks know where to contact her.
The particular venue we spoke about is in Eastern Kentucky (not that far away) and is expecting literally thousands of people on holidays like the Fourth of July. So, not only is there money to be made but there is serious potential for exposure for the right band. Tamar told me that American Talent expects to be done with these specific bookings very soon.
