John 14:26-27 (King James Version):
26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Without the Holy Ghost in one's life, and his word, there's no word and grace for stability in the time of crisis. See the condition of the world today? If people, as a whole, had the "peace of God," there wouldn't be all the atrocities that are happening - it's the price of ignoring the "Prince of Peace," to go about one's own sinful way, which brings about the damaging results.
But, God is real to anyone who repents and accepts his grace towards a changed life. And those, who have the real peace of God, will come to know the importance of keeping him "active" in one's life. For such a contentment is not only advantageous in a true christian's daily life, keeping one stable in the time of crisis, but it's also our "priceless," ticket to glory!
