Mark 2:17 (King James Version):

17When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The Lord is available to those needing his assistance in their lives. Unfortunately, there are those who feel they don't need him, as being whole; and there are those who feel he's there but is rejecting him, being (self)righteous; and there are those who have actually surrendered to him in order to acquire the peace he brings to a life, in a tailspin and in desperate need of him.

In a fast-paced world as today, some don't care enough about their soul to want him, not realizing that any stress from the cares of this life can only be managed by the peace of God within, which gradually manifests on the outside. Repentance is what the Lord is requiring, for him to cure the sinful life.

But, if one is too "whole" or "righteous" to come to this physician, then they have only the right to do the best they can, only to have to face him one day in judgment. Be the one who turns to the Lord. And not only will life be seen from a different perspective, but the final end, on the otherside, will also be a hopeful one.
