There was certain a man that worked as a computer operator for eighteen years. But one day, that job in which he depended on, had "folded up." He was in desperate need of a job. And when it was announced about the recession, that didn't seem to encourage looking for another job. Then, another job came and went, and a part-time job came along. And knowing that ten hours average a week wouldn't suffice, he remained hopeful.

Then, he knew someone whom he believed that could do something about his situation, and spent time with him. He would make the sacrifice of meeting with him very early each morning and at his house at noon, and was assured that things would get better. The economy won't get any better, as more people are getting laid off from their jobs. In spite of this, this certain man believed that his situation would get better.

During that "waiting period" and seeking employment, he continued giving honor daily to the One he trusted that could give him a better job. And then, it happened . . . the job fell through in his favor! And because he desired something that was good-paying and flexible enough to still give him the freedom to serve the Lord without the stress of a "9-5" job, the Lord was the one who caused a job to come through for him, because he took the time out to place him first.

And, if you put the Lord first, even during the toughest times, he'll remember you and will do above and beyond what we ask or think. God is true to his word, especially when he desires his praises. He'll give you a job, and not just any job, while others are losing theirs, because there's no recession in him! How do I know that? This article is from personal experience.

For when others say that people my age can't get a job, especially one that has the potential of paying the same amount of money in one day that would normally take a "9-5" job to pay in a week, this testimony says otherwise. For with God, nothing is impossible, because he's also the cure for the common recession. But you'll have to trust him wholeheartedly without wavering, and he'll give you the peace and the means that'll keep you until that next job comes around! Now, are willing to trust him with your life?
