Think about it and it shouldn't be a surprise. One candidate has over 52,000 contributors (many online) and has a website the campaign markets constantly - including by the candidate himself in the debates.
Web traffic stats from Quantcast.com:
- Dino Rossi: 52,000 a month in September.
- Christine Gregoire: 4,500 a month in September.
Any guesses on what October will look like based on those trends? Rossi isn't kidding about that "citizen's movement" he talks about on the campaign trail.
