If you have been following Mike Burton, you will know he is down over 30 pounds in three weeks time and on his way to dropping 100 pounds for the New Year 2010. That being said, it is Tuesday morning and wake up time was 5:45 am to jump on the Precor treadmill. Precor has helped Mike in his quest with the loan of a Precor treadmill and FS Glide trainer. The FS glide is a dual column pulley system for strength training. He will be using it this evening after his long day at work. This morning was a typical breakfast after the 60 minute workout. He had 1 cup FAGE Greek style yogurt with 20 grams of protein, 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 pint of raspberries and 3.5 walnuts. He also had an Elations supplement beverage featuring 1200 & 1500 mg of chondroitin glucosamine, calcium and boron as well as a potassium filled banana. His morning snacks today will include an apple and a Chobani 14 gram protein filled yogurt and later in the day another Chobani--we forgot to pick up some lean turkey lunch meat. I'll keep you posted on his workouts and food this week. It's much easier when I am here by his side to keep you all in the loop.
