Today I was lucky enough to find out what the Chciago Bears eat for breakfast... and it's not just egg whites! From the various answers they certainly eat well... Chris Williams eats pancakes, egg whites, orange juice and some fruit. All the rookies that attended the United Way Hometown Huddle at Morton High School in Cicero had about the same answer. A few added bacon to the list too! The Chicago Bears, United Way and Lifetime Fitness Equipment put together a new Chicago Bears training room at Morton High School to help get the community more active. Lifetime Fitness, in Broadview, donated over 20 pieces of fitness cardio equipment as well as anew strength line too. Over 100 high school kids participated with the Bears in athletic drills and then learned a little bit about nutrtion with myself. My main focus for teenagers is to exercise and on the nutrition side: eat breakfast with protein and a fruit or vegetable; try to omit soda from your regular diet and eat 5-7 meals per day. The kids really enjoyed the Chicago Bears and there were a few parents in the crowd getting autographs too! Give to the United Way and help out kids in your community!
