Artwork is no longer confined to just walls. Calle Henzel Studios (HZL) in Sweden has created area rugs in the form of artwork, all the pieces they have created, including pillows and artwork, are stunning statement pieces for any room. In addition, HZL has created the X-module rug, which is exactly how it sounds, in the shape of an x and can be combined with different styles and colors to create a fantastic collage. The company only uses 100% New Zealand wool and uses special techniques by incorporating hand-finished carving and sculpting  to create a one of a kind effect for each rug. HZL just recently finished accessorizing the new Hard Rock Hotel here in Las Vegas with these amazing pieces. Surprisingly, these rugs are affordable to the public with prices starting around $17 per square foot.
