Here comes the Foam!  Here comes the Foam!

An open call to brewers from the organizer's of Old Chicago & Bristol Brewing's Foam Fest:

Please join us this year at the 2009 Old Chicago Springs Foam Fest. Now in its third year, Foam Fest will be bigger and better than ever!

The event will take place Saturday, August 29th from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the beautiful Antler's Park in downtown Colorado Springs. Last year's attendance was well over 300 people, this year we expect crowds of between 600 and 800 beer drinkers from across Southern Colorado!

Foam Fest is Colorado Springs' only downtown beer festival.

Live entertainment will be provided by Andy Clifton & Company and Chute Nine; food will be provided by Old Chicago as well as several other fine food purveyors.

New this year will be a Home Brewer Competition that looks to bring several contestants and even more avid beer drinkers.  Additionally, we will feature more “festival style” activities from Bungee Jumping to Ring Toss. A crowd favorite activity from last year, Corn Holing, will make an encore appearance.

Most importantly, all proceeds from the festival will benefit the Miracle on Tejon Street (an event that feeds over 600 homeless people on Christmas day), and The Friends of Cheyenne Cañon (a conservation and education group dedicated to preserving North Cheyenne Cañon Park).

You may register online starting July 1st at www.oldchicagofoamfest.com.  Please register before July 15th to have your brewery name included in the promotional materials. Space is limited to the first 25 breweries.

Breweries will be provided with:

• One 6 foot table and 2 chairs
• Ice
• Lunch
• Two festival passes and commemorative glasses
• Inclusion of your brewery's name on the festival t-shirt

Breweries will need to provide:

• A minimum of 2 kegs of your delicious beer
• Tapping equipment
• Tent
• Staff to pour your beer

Beer Tap TV is a sponsor of this event and will be on hand filming and taking part in the festivities. Come join us in helping to support these worthy causes.  Let's all make this an event to remember!
