Splash Downs Waterpark
Splash in the water, this summer, at Splash Down Waterpark. Located conveniently in Manassas, VA, this largest of water parks in the Northern Virginia region draws crowds from all over surrounding states.
The water park features 13 acres of fun including: two 4-story cannonball slides, two Tropical Twister Waterslides and a children’s area with four waterslides. The five water-related acres also include a 770 ft. Lazy River, a 25 meter Lap Pool with Hippo, a Boat Side with water raindrops and bubbles and Log Walks/Lily Pad Walks. Swimming and aquatic adventure is meant to be enjoyable. For this and several other reasons, Splash Downs Waterpark provides a variety of options to help you improve or learn how to swim from a novice stage. An award-winning Aquatic Staff of American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors will offer a personalized course just for you. No matter what stage or age, you may book a private session. Group lessons are also offered as well as two-week long Junior Lifeguard Mini-Camps for children ages 11 to 14.
Special events are always happening. “Play Dates” were created for ages 1 to 5 and enable parents to enjoy a little quiet time while children engross themselves in toys, activities and supervised care. Every Friday, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m., prizes, games, swimming, food and a full-blown summer celebration kicks into full-swing. Upcoming themes include a Pirate and Princess Bash, on July 10 and a Wild West-Hang Team event, July 17. Dressing up for these events always adds to the excitement!
