Oklahoma! was one of Toby's performances

The autumn and winter months make for the perfect time to go to the theater. Toby's Dinner Theatre, in Columbia makes for an enjoyable two-in-one family experience featuring the finest food and dramatic
arts performances.

Now in its 30th year, Toby's Dinner Theatre continues to charm visitors from around the Baltimore area with performances straight out of award-winning Broadway shows as well as original musicals. All this, plus a buffet style dinner is a real steal! Even better, the theatre is arranged in a way so that no seat is located more than 30 feet away from the stage. Therefore, you never have to worry about sacrificing good seating for the performances while you dine in some of the area's finest cuisine.

Toby's Dinner Theatre offers a full-service bar, a 25 item salad bar, hot buffet items to choose from and a dessert table with an area for making your own sundaes. With evening and matinee performances
available for shows, the menu features an array of choices. The evening buffet choices include: roast turkey breast, steamship round, baked Virginia pit ham, pasta marinara, rice pilaf, honey-glazed
carrots, vegetable medleys, casseroles and much more. Sunday matinee brunch includes: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, french toast, creamed chipped beef, biscuits, muffins, bagels, danishes and breakfast potatoes along with the ham and turkey carving stations and other items featured at the evening buffet.

Starting on Nov. 12, and showing through Jan. 24, the musical Annie will be performed at Toby's Dinner Theatre in Columbia. Also playing on select days and evenings, is the Sinatra-style inspired My Way, back by popular demand. This show features renditions of Strangers in the Night; Chicago; New York, New York; That's Life; The Best Is Yet to Come, and of course My Way. Special performances will play on Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.

Toby's Dinner Theatre of Columbia has been nominated for the Helen Hayes Award over 50 times. In 2002 and then again in 2004, Toby's won for Outstanding Choreography. In 2003, the theatre was awarded Outstanding Director. Toby's was voted Best of Baltimore by Baltimore Magazine.

Toby's Dinner Theatre of Columbia is located at 5900 Symphony Woods Road, Columbia, MD 21044. In addition to this Toby's Theatre location, Baltimore City features a Toby's Theatre located on 5625 O'Donnell Street. The shows and menu vary at the two locations for Toby's. At Columbia, doors open at 6 p.m. (5 p.m.on Sundays) for evening performances and 10:30 a.m. for matinees. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Admission for adults ranges from $32.50 to $51 depending on showtime. Discounts are available for children and senior citizens.
