Maine's got a long record of witches and ghosts and inexplicable paranormal kind of stuff, and with Halloween drawing nigh I thought this would be a pretty good time to look into it.

Fright at the Fort is taking place at Fort Knox (no, not that Fort Knox). This is a place that does up a haunted house right.

Speaking of haunted houses, there are a few videos on YouTube of the Maine Ghost Hunters. Most of them show them wandering around being filmed by night vision cameras, looking for all the world like Spinal Tap in the "Hello Cleveland!" scene. But there's this one moment you can't explain...

As opposed to this moment, where everyone and his brother takes a moment to comment on how fake this evil spirit effect is. I'm guessing they're right, but I'm still thinking it's a nicely done effect.

Of course, my favorite would have to be this look at the Beer Witch Project, brought to you by Gritty McDuff's.
