The Grand Valley Rally will be held Friday to Sunday in Delta. Beneficiaries include Unity Toys for Tots, The Doves, Operation Inter-independence, Delta Meth Task Force, Caws, and more.
The Poker Run for HOPE takes off Saturday from Mile-High Harley Davidson. The suggested donation is $20 per bike, $10 per passenger. Proceeds benefit Brent’s Place and kids with cancer.
The 3rd Annual Poker Run for Valle del Sol Community Center is set for Saturday. The $15 per poker hand benefits youth programs at the center. Meet up at 19880 County Road 8 in Capulin. Call 719-274-5431 for information.
Also on Saturday, the Protecting the American Dream Rally to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund will be held in Woodland Park.
A Ride 911 Flight Crew Memorial Motorcycle Ride will be held Saturday in Dacono to benefit an aviation scholarship at Metro State College and the Flight Crew Memorial Foundation. Registration is $25 for the rider and $10 for a passenger.
In Westminster on Sunday, the U.S. Vets Charity Poker Run will head out from Hiccups, 80th and Sheridan at 9 a.m.. Registration is $20 per rider, $30 per couple and will benefit various veteran charities.
Also on Sunday, the McCarthy's Pub 4th Annual MS Poker Run gets underway to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Registration is 10-11 a.m. and costs $15 per rider, $10 per passenger. The starting location is Aunt Alice's Kitchen, 1805 Main Street in Longmont. Call 303-651-6009 for information.
The 2nd Annual Ladies of Harley Hogs-Dogs-Rods to benefit the LAM Foundation will be held in Frederick on Sunday. Registration is $5 per vehicle.
The 4th Annual Metrie's Ride for Kids will be Sunday, sponsored by Paladin Rider Association. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at Sweetwater Station, 9975 Wadsworth in Broomfield. The ride benefits the Family Tree's Woman's Crisis Shelter. The ride fee is $15 for the rider or $20 with a passenger.
Then, starting on Monday, Ignacio Bike Week kicks off for a full week. This Four Corners Motorcycle Rally is held in Ignacio and there are no admission fees.
Next week:
Another Four Corners area event, the Sugar Pine Ranch Rally, kicks off Thursday, Aug. 28 to Monday, Sept. 1. The rally ground entrance fee is $20 per day or $50 for three days. This event is held at the Sugar Pine Ranch in Mancos, west of Durango.
Thunder in the Rockies hits Loveland Friday, Aug. 29 to Monday, Sept. 1. Admission is $10 per day, $15 for the weekend. The rally is held at The Ranch, Crossroads Blvd. and I-25.
The 16th Annual Labor Day Run heads out on Sunday, Aug. 31, from Davies Locker, 8845 Lowell Boulevard, Westminster. Call 303-429-0096 for information. The fee is $10 per poker hand, $15 for two hands.
