I'm making one change in this listing: In addition to the motorcycle rides, runs, and rallies coming up this weekend, I'm also including those coming up next weekend. That will make it easier for you to make plans, rather than waiting for the last minute.

This weekend:

The International Serenity Riders 20th Annual Run will take place in Cedaredge Friday through Sunday. Call 303-853-0229 for information.

The BMW Motorcycle Club of Colorado is hosting its 100,000 Foot Ride on Saturday. This ride begins and ends in Denver and crosses 10 passes higher than 10,000 feet.

Also on Saturday, La Junta will host the Music at the Junction Poker Run to benefit the Arkansas Valley Hospice. Information at 719-469-2069.

The 10th Annual Laradon Hall Poker Rally is set for Saturday and Sunday. The location is the Golden Elk's Lodge. Hands are $30, which includes dinner on the second day. Call 303-432-7653 or 303-664-0780.

Katies Ride for the Cure, the 5th annual benefit for cystic fibrosis cure, will be Saturday. Call 970-290-3240.

Next week:

Not surprisingly, there isn't much happening next week. It's time for the Sturgis, SD, motorcycle rally and nobody wants to compete with Sturgis. Here's the only event I've been able to locate.

The Adventure Riders will hold their West Fest '08 Tuesday Aug. 8-10 in Lake City, at the Texan Resort. Registration is $59.75 per person, which includes food and beverages.
