Fall Foods
Farmer's Market

Summer has faded, and Fall is officially here. The leaves are changing, and with Winter around the corner, the foods on our plate will be changing too. Of course this time of year, orchids are visited for baskets of apples, and farms pumpkin patches are raided for Halloween, but there are a few more vegetables and fruits are in season right now.

Below is a list of foods that are in season from October to December. Also let's not forget the universal all year round seasonal foods of beef, pork, bison, chicken, turkey, and other meats. And of course how can one not also be in support of our local breweries and vineyards!?

Though most of our meats are available all year round, don't forget to still be prudent in purchase of local product. Don't be afraid to ask your local restaurants and grocers what local products they have. The more who ask, and express a desire for local, in season food, the more restaurants and grocers realize, this is what the people want.
