As you may already know, Mardi Gras season is upon us and there are so many things to do and see.  Whether you are a native of New Orleans or new to the area, there are parades for all to participate in.  Check out the general parade schedule and the parade schedule geared more towards families.

Morning and afternoon parades are definitely geared towards families and children.  Many families choose to head to St. Charles Avenue between Napoleon Avenue and Lee Circle.

Make sure to take folding lawn chairs, beverages and snacks, and something to carry all your gifts.  Spot out bathroom locations and arrive early to get the best views and the most loot.  Mardi Gras comes with a special set of precautions and tips.  Heed the warnings, but enjoy the time with your children and family.

Have a safe and fun Mardi Gras season.  Enjoy your children and laugh out loud today.

Please comment and share your personal experience or ideas on the best places to go for Mardi Gras celebrations.  Also share other ideas you have for future articles.
