Developer Harmonix has announced their upcoming rhythm game The Beatles: Rock Band will arrive worldwide on September 9th, 2009.

The stand-alone multi-instrument title will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii.

Additionally, controllers modeled after actual Beatles instruments will be available, with standalone guitars selling for $99.99. A bundle that packs the game and instruments (guitar, mic and drums) will sell for $249.99, while the game itself will be available separately for $59.99.

As previously mentioned, the title will be compatible with all Rock Band instruments "and other current music-based video game peripherals," like Guitar Hero's.

The game brings 45 tracks tops, pulled from The Beatles' 1962-69 collection--from "Please Please Me," to "Abbey Road."
