Steam has extended its Far Cry 2 half-off sale through the upcoming weekend. The $29.99 title will continue to run at the price of $14.99 through Sunday.

The sale began Thursday as part of Steam's 'Ubisoft Week' which offered various titles from the publisher.

This could point to a spike in Steam's sales of Far Cry 2, as they've had a history of extending deals when they're selling hot.

The game was originally a multiplatform title for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 that ran the next-gen prices of $60 for consoles and $50 for PC. The fact that it's being offered at the cost of a PSN/XBLA game should be tempting.
