Left 4 Dead update adds team versus matchmaking

Valve has released a new update for their survival shooter Left 4 Dead, adding the much called for team versus 4-on-4 competitve matchmaking mode.
The patch also brings a fix for a Crash Course acheivement crash issue. Of course.
The download can be had by restarting the Steam client. From the notes:
Left 4 Dead
* Fixed a crash related to a Crash Course achievement
* Fixed an issue were bots and computer controlled special infected were being reported via "View Game Info"
* Added Team Versus 4 on 4 competitive matchmaking
