FAA knew Air Force One photo-op would cause panic

According to CBS reporter Marcia Kramer, the Federal Aviation Administration knew that two fighters and a backup Air Force One jet that it sent buzzing around Lower Manhattan on Monday could instill fears of another 9/11 amongst New Yorkers, but it nevertheless ordered the imperial photo-op kept secret from the public.
In a memo obtained by CBS 2 HD, the Federal Aviation Administration's James Johnston said the agency was aware of "the possibility of public concern regarding DOD (Department of Defense) aircraft flying at low altitudes" in an around New York City. But they demanded total secrecy from the NYPD, the Secret Service, the FBI and even the mayor's office and threatened federal sanctions if the secret got out.
Laughably, the White House maintains that it was unaware of the flyover (someone needs to take a class on how to lie without stuttering) while Barack Obama is reportedly furious about it.
Uh-huh.
Though the federal government largely is filled with unproductive incompetents, every move made by politicians and bureaucrats is calculated and intended to result in a benefit to themselves at the expense of society. As Hans Hoppe once said, "States are actually institutions which cause conflict and then present themselves as solutions to problems they created in the first place." In other words, the federal government intentionally stokes fear in the masses and then uses the resulting hysteria to sell us its line about how we need the state to protect us.
Folks, it's well past time to wake the hell up. And if the video below doesn't convince you of that, nothing will.
