"I recently completed a three-day visit at UF and was amazed at how the university adminstrators treat the students like a group of serfs. 20 mph campus wide speed limit, strictly enforced. University Police barge into privately owned fraternity houses for 'safety' inspections. UFPD can also issue citations to underage students for NOT drinking. That's right, underage students can be fined for simply being in the same room while someone else is drinking. I was also issued a parking citation for not parking 'nose in.' What?? But this was the icing on the cake:
"I think I'll cross UF off my list of possible graduate schools."
