Senator Reid’s wife and daughter were injured when they were hit Thursday by a reckless driver. Reid’s wife is in serious condition with a broken back, neck and nose. His daughter was treated and released with neck injuries and facial lacerations.

The Bottom Line
You humble conservative examiner has been incredibly busy and has not has time to write about the sneaky goings-on with health care lately, more to come on that later. I felt compelled, however, to take a moment to express my prayers and sympathies for Senator Reid and his family.

When your loved ones are in pain, you suffer in a manner that can not be conveyed to those who have not experienced it. I am no fan of Reid, but I wish him and his family the best and I pray that his wife recovers from her injuries.

May she get the best health care that money can buy.
