Change is coming! Change is coming! Change is the mantra that has been communicated to us over the last year or so during Barack Obama’s improbable rise to become President-elect. The question to ask, of course, is a play on those words - “Is change really coming?”

Over the past five weeks, Obama has put together a team that is very close to being termed as “Clinton-lite” - all of the taste of the Clinton Administration but none of the Bill. All I need to complete the transition back to 1993 is a DeLorean equipped with a flux capacitor.

I expected, and hoped for, more from Barack Obama. According to Merriam - Websters, one of the definition of change means “to undergo transformation, transition, or substitution” - it is a missed opportunity that our country is getting a substitution instead of a transformation.
