Happy Fourth of July, America! This afternoon, most of us will gather around family and friends to celebrate the birthday of our country. Parades, fireworks and barbeques are fun and provide a healthy respite from the fast pace of our daily lives. My hope is that everyone will take a moment or two to reflect on the true meaning of today; the freedom and liberty that are the hallmarks of our great Republic.

To my fellow Veterans, and fellow men and women serving in the Armed Forces, I want to say Thank You for your service to our country!
