If you're frustrated over trying to find accommodations during the 2010 Winter Games in British Columbia, here's another option. Seattle's Alki Tours is offering a multi-night stay at the Mountain Retreat Hotel and Suites in Squamish. It's conveniently located halfway between downtown Vancouver and the alpine high country of Whistler.

Mountain Retreat Hotel and Suites, formerly the Super 8 Motel, features a heated indoor pool with waterslide (do your own Olympics!), fitness room and a spa tub. The four-night package (Feb. 16-20, 2010), also includes round-trip, deluxe motor coach transportation from Seattle; full breakfast each morning; plus a tour guide. It's priced at $799 US per person. 

No Olympic events are included in the rate, but there are more than 25 medal events happening between Feb. 16-20, including the men's 1500-meter speed skating; women's half pipe snowboarding finals; and men's Super-G Alpine skiing. Alki Tours will assist with ticket purchases for the events.
