2009 will be remembered for the year of rain. If you've wondered how rain falls over a wide area, take a moment to look at the above map. Many areas saw more than a typical amount for September. Some even saw twice as much. A few saw four times their normal amount. Various records were broken across Tennessee. 2009 has been quite a year for precipitation.

We should add to our total on Friday as another system slides through late Thursday night and the first part of Friday. The great news, however, is our weekend looks great. *Nashville's Latest, Local Weather Forecast*

Enjoy your weekend as we'll have excellent weather both Saturday and Sunday.
