If you’re like me, the calendar on your wall is more for decoration than actually reminding you of upcoming events. Well, there’s a big, red “X” marked on February 17th because Rockstar is releasing the first downloadable episode for Grand Theft Auto IV entitled The Lost and Damned.

In this story, you’ll play as Johnny Klebitz, vice president of The Lost motorcycle gang. Unlike Niko Bellic, the main character from GTA IV, who was forced to make new friends and contacts in Liberty City, you’re already well established which means instant access to all the latest weapons The Lost And The Damned has to offer.

While I don’t want to give much of the story away, Rockstar has promised the game will feature new music, weapons, characters, television programming, internet, and mini-games such as arm wrestling and a high/low card game.

Since Johnny is in a biker gang, it only makes sense that much of the driving takes place on a motorcycle but don’t get your leather chaps in a bunch just yet. Rockstar has given the choppers tighter controls and made them harder to fall off of compared to the bikes in GTA 4.

So, if you’ve got the original GTA 4 and an Xbox Live account, this is a must-buy. The downloadable content is only $20 and, in this economy, that’s a steal!
