...and his eyes on the clouds.
I don’t know about you, but I still look to big fluffy cumulus shapes like a child - I name them and watch them change. But clouds have more meaning today than we could have possibly imagined.
And now, I look to a different cloud, where thoughts are shared globally and connections are made in the moment. I see it as a kind of cloud alchemy. It’s so intriguing, I think I'll compose a manifesto out of that cloud.

What Jack will see is a mystery we’ll learn about over many years to come. What Jack will invent out of the clouds he engages, I’m guessing, will be as far beyond our imagination today as the iPhone was to most of us thirty years ago.
Today’s clouds are little things by tomorrow’s standards. In the one little year of Jack’s life so far, I’ve expanded my brain into the creativity of the iPhone app world, onto the generous plane of thoughts called Twitter, and down several other roads still developing. This means learning on an unprecedented scale, new associations and friendships near and very far, and new brain capacities emerging constantly. My own world is barely recognizable compared to 12 months ago.
Imagine what it’s like for Jack!
Happy birthday, luminous child. We love watching you dream.
Your friend,
Bell
