Few things are as stressful as approaching that pile of papers to get those taxes filed. In a recent exchange with Gina Gwozdz, a tax accountant with a regular blog, I learned that there is really no difference, tax-wise, between an online entrepreneur, a writer, an artist, and any other businessperson in sole proprietorship.

It seems like there would be a difference, but there isn’t.

The world of taxes has a lot of illusions like that, doesn’t it? Since the only certainties in life are death and taxes, I guess it makes sense that we’d have some blind spots (read: denial) about both of those.

In my Introductions series over at Great Adaptations, I’m exposing my readers to several helpful websites and articles. Gina’s blog is comforting to me, and as a Boomer online, I often look for  comfort.

You can see Gina's recent article  about being ready to face some of the challenges of tax time, here.
