Following a 3-3 tie at Seattle and a 3-0 loss at Colorado, DC United slipped to 6th in the latest MLS Computer Rankings, compiled by me to judge the strength of Major League Soccer's 15 teams with regard to strength of schedule and home/away form.

United stand at 5-3-8 and are right where it would want to be in the standings, leading the Eastern Conference with 23 points. But two of those five wins have come against the New York Red Bulls, with another against #11 Toronto. That in part cancels out the strength of wins over Chicago and top-ranked Houston earlier this season.

Houston maintained their hold at the top despite only getting a home draw against then-No. 12 Real Salt Lake over the weekend. Real Salt Lake was the big mover in the positive direction, jumping from 12 to 10. Columbus (third to fifth) and Los Angeles (10th to 12th) were the biggest losers this week.

And there's no surprise at the bottom.

Here are this week's rankings, with rank, last week's rank, team name, record, and total points. Includes results from last week (featuring how teams were ranked last week) and schedule for this week.
